Carrick ball again.. 💤 Talks a good game.. rather lose games than draw mentality but when 2-0 down keeps on Ugarte for 90 mins, Zirkzee on the bench when needing to pump long, Mount 0 minutes. Slow, laboured and in game management is non existent.

Today will be my last game at West Clewes after 3 stints in green over 10 years. A club i never have had a chance to say goodbye to properly. Thanks to the green army over those years and what a way to end a career here with potential safety today 🇳🇬 @WeltonRoversFC

43rd minute, and a goal back for Welton. Ford flicks on a header to Aaron Seviour who takes a touch before finishing into the bottom corner. 2-1

Absolutely mental 🤦🏼‍♂️ football eh!
Before anything appears elsewhere, I want to briefly address this myself. The club has decided to bring in a new/old manager and have asked me to step aside and remain as a player. This decision makes no sense to me, a lot of my players and I’m sure a lot of others, but ultimately it’s the one that has been made. After the last 5-6 months and the work I’ve put in building this squad and creating a winning mentality with results to prove, that’s not something I’m comfortable with, so my time at Corsham has come to an end Winning 12 of our 17 games and putting the club back in a position to achieve our end goal is something I’m incredibly proud of, in my first stint at management. The lads bought into everything we were trying to build and their effort and commitment has been top class I’m gutted I won’t get the chance to finish the job I started, but it’s been a privilege working with such a great group of players, staff, volunteers and everyone involved…I thank you all @CorshamTownFC New challenge awaits ❤️

Been coming for weeks that.. United slow and laboured last 4 games. ‘Carrick’s United’ is miles off it. Lost all sense of urgency and afraid to attack 👎🏼

Replying to @WeltonRoversFC
brilliant team performance, and a deserved 3 points. Hunter brilliant command of his box but no real save to make all night. Caelen and Sevs in particular relentless in their running. Well done lads! 🇳🇬

FULL TIME Welton Rovers 2-1 @LongwellGreenFC @_WesternLeague_ 2 second half goals for Welton after they had to soak up some early 2nd half pressure. 3 valuable points. #greenarmy

Poor from United tonight.. passive on the ball, happy not to lose. Not what Carrick has said he’d set up to do against anyone.. Sesko should have started and balls into the box from the start. 👎🏼

Proof that badges mean fuck all by the way @DorkingWDRS Mark White has been saying this for a couple of years. There’s so many top level coaches who aren’t can’t access courses or aren’t given opportunities. The tide in football is slowly changing 🔮
