Newton County Schools was well represented at the recent Georgia Teacher of the Year Gala!
Our 2026 Teacher of the Year, Dr. Quinita Morrow of Alcovy High School, joined Newton County STEAM Academy third grader Tristan Iverson for this special statewide event. Tristan had the honor of introducing Georgia State School Superintendent Richard Woods before the audience and did an outstanding job on the big stage.
From one of our exceptional educators to one of our rising young leaders, both represented Newton County Schools with professionalism, confidence, and pride. We couldn't be more proud of them for showcasing the excellence found throughout our district.
