Atlanta, here's an update: The pipe has been removed. After replacing the line, it will be pressurized immediately for service restoration. Customers can anticipate delays in full restoration until the system is fully pressurized. Customers may also experience a slight discoloration of water when services are restored, System pressure remains stable, and a Boil Water Advisory is not expected at this time. The northbound lane will be completely closed until the restoration work is finished, which will occur after weather conditions improve. Traffic control measures are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. We will continue to update the community and businesses throughout the repair process.
