This week was our first deep dive into document analysis skills. Students analyzed Mongol documents, matched documents to original Playdoh sculptures, and connected the documents to a prompt.
What better way to start the week than a new AHS sports variation of the egg race challenge. Bonus balls include school chants & corny sports themed jokes. We even had our escadrille for themed music. The competition was real! Review doesnât have to be a list of terms to define!
Competitive Scavenger Hunts- partly team building, partly content review, partly making connections. I love that students have the opportunity to practice with content without penalty or grades. Bonus - Iâve got a super competitive group. Wait until they see what Iâve got coming!
The first two days of school are always exciting - getting to see my old students I dearly love and meeting my new students. I canât wait to see what they can do! We talked success and failure with the pirate version of the marshmallow challenge!
