This week I've heard talk about football as a business, the commercialisation of #NCFC, expensive ticket prices, unfriendly kick-off times, fans treated as customers. It's been going this way for a long time. Read all about it in 'Cutting the Mustard' ⬇️robinireland.com

So, this weekend will be very interesting #NCFC. At the Carra on Sat afternoon. And ready for all things #NorwichCity and #football at the Collectors Fair the following day. I’ll be there to sign my book along with memorabilia associated with it. See you there.
Looking forward to being at the Football Collectors Fair at The Forum next month. Look forward to seeing some #NCFC fans there. Maybe it will take our minds on what's happening on the pitch.
The football season is back... which means it's a great time to read a debut novel about the meaning of ritualised sport.

Check out my new publication with Axis Projects Publishing: robinireland.com/ A study of the commercialisation of football seen through the lens of #NCFC. Hope you like it @TheFootyLibrary
Lovely piece of radio about football and memory. Will be much more if this sort of thing at Robin’s book launch on Wednesday in Norwich. Hope to see lots of you there.
Well, that was a lot of fun #TheScrimmage. Too busy working on my match predictions to say you can still get tickets for the launch of ‘Cutting the Mustard’ this Wednesday evening at Carrow Road: eventbrite.com/e/cutting-the…#NCFC
Visited the birthplace of the rules of football sculpture on Parker’s Piece with my @U3A Cambridge group exploring over 4 sessions, Cambridge’s role in the 19th century sporting revolution and the significant contribution of Frank Fenner a local tobacconist.
It’s Friday and the end of my second week working full time as a consultant… I’ve made the leap and joined @kevinjbolton in @kazky_gb as a Director! We’ll be developing Kazky over the coming months and it feels like a very exciting time.
