This is a good point. Knicks are a unique situation where despite having very little homegrown talent, the benefits of a homegrown build were still there as the Knicks’ culture and foundation was largely built at Villanova. That plus the familial relationship between Leon Rose & Jalen Brunson, Rick Brunson on staff etc. brought a dynamic that is foreign to typical non-homegrown builds.
See how Nets fans miss the point. Nix were made in Villanova.
Their continuity was built thru 4 years of college and 2 national championships
Nix didn’t even sign all stars. They signed friends who won together, continuity is the key. you can’t replicate what they did.

Any championship celebration in the borough moving forward won't match what's going on in Kings County right now.
And they had 15 years to make an impact.

Agreed. I'd add that it's safer to assume AMI will continue to rise at rates comparable or greater than those of the past ten years, and require the lowest average income target available in a state-sponsored program.

At Barclays Center, the court is 34 feet below street level. Sinking the main arena floor below street level naturally suppresses sound leakage, which helps keep the venue quieter for surrounding neighborhood.

These official watch parties have become a political mess. New York needs real public spaces where tens of thousands of people can freely assemble, whether for watching sports or protests, much like the squares and plazas you find in many European and South American cities.
