AZ Pro 17U went 6-0 this week in Omaha to capture the Battle of Omaha championship 17U Championship. Total team effort as they won 14-6, 7-1, 4-2, 7-2, 11-0 and 12-3 in the Championship over Omaha Skutt. Congrats to all team members.

AZ Pro 17U cashed in 2 victories in Omaha June 11, with wins of 14-6 & 7-1. Adam Bird was outstanding pitching all 7 innings in game 2. Adam Martinez, Andrew Nugen, Asher Tolpa, Jayden Romero all had big days at the plate as well as several other contributors offensively.

Trevor Thompson was awarded the Brockish Memorial Scholarship this past weekend. Trevor is an OF from Lake Havasu and will attend North Dakota State College of Science this Fall. Congrats Trevor!

AZ Pro is having tryouts for their summer scout teams on Sunday, May 3rd at 9:00 AM at Thunderbird HS. Tryout is open for all HS players grad years 2026-2030. There is no cost for the tryout and players should arrive by 8:30 AM to register on site. Www.azprobaseball.com

AZ Pro 17U recently won the Cool Pines Classic in Flagstaff. The team went 2-0-1 in pool play and won the semi-final against Chino Valley and the Final game against Mesquite. Great hitting, good baserunning, pitching & defense led to the championship.

Alex Bakkila recently signed to continue his baseball career at Justice University. Alex played with AZ Pro for 4 years. He will pitch at Justice for former AZ Pro coach Zack Chilton. Congrats Alex!

Jake Dobson received the 2025 Ken Brockish Memorial Scholarship given by AZ Pro baseball. This scholarship was created in 2024 to honor Director Therron Brockish’s father Ken Brockish. Dobson is a 2025 graduate from Dobson High School and has played with AZ Pro the last 3 years.
