'I lost my mum in 2010 when I was just 12 years old, and she was only 47. She had AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) and had been fighting very hard for 2 years before she passed away. Anthony Nolan helped mum so much.'

Olivia took part in the Alton Towers 5K earlier in November, in memory of her mum, who she lost in 2010 when she was only 12 years old. Having only started her running journey earlier in the year, Olivia absolutely smashed the tough and hilly Alton Towers course!

Paul was one of our incredible skydivers during Blood Cancer Awareness Month. He took on his first skydive in memory of his fiancé’s father. Paul raised over £1000 for Anthony Nolan and said it was one of the best experiences of his life. A huge thank you to Paul!

“Neil did like a challenge and walking Offa's dyke is certainly a good one for us. Walking particularly allows a lot of time for reflection and brings back happy memories.” This month, Phil and Jan are walking the length of Wales in memory of their son Neil.

Neil was a student doctor, was on the stem cell register himself, and was involved with the student branch of Anthony Nolan, Marrow, when he was at university. Anthony Nolan was a charity close to his heart. At the moment the amount raised in Neil’s memory is an amazing £86,920!

‘If you had said to me this time last year that I could achieve the walk, I would not have believed you. When I look back to that point in my life, I really thought I wouldn’t make it.’

Roslyn did the Edinburgh Kiltwalk last weekend in support of Anthony Nolan with her family and Blaze the dog! They raised over £700 and had a very special day celebrating how far Roslyn has come in less than a year.

“I was diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukaemia back in 2014. It soon became obvious that I could not be cured with just chemotherapy. I was asked by my consultant if I was in agreement for them to look for a stem cell donor. Once one was found I was able to have the transplant.
