@USAinUK I need to attend IEEE-ICHI conference in USA but the visa app in UK is such a pain, the earliest appointment in October which is 6 months from now and 4 months after the conference. Is this the way American Gets Greater Again? How can we attend academic conferences??

@USAinUKpress @USAinUKConsular I requested the Expedite because the Conference dates are four months before the visa application date I got, where I listed the conference information, my visa invitation letter from IEEE-ICHI2024, but the request was rejected. What a great USA!

@ieeeichi2024 Can USA give the conference organisers more authority/credit so that they can help the authors of accepted papers to get visa application in time? Otherwise isn't it a USA shame to organise an international conference while international researchers cannot attend?
