Today has been a wonderful day of resting and feasting with God's people. Tomorrow we go back out into the world to our work, with gladness for God's blessing. (Deuteronomy 12:5-9)

Thankful that God has provided our little body with a stellar organist. Next week will be our first accompanied service at Covenantreformedkirk.com

Definitely worth reading, but there are points for discussion. Overall, it reminded me of Acts 14:1 where they "spoke in such a manner that a large number of people believed." I think that's his point. And I agree with it over all. Strive to persuade. modernreformation.org/resour…

2. I think this description of the religious right is reductionistic and denies that Jesus is Lord of the public square. There is no irrelgious space. It isn't unjust to promote true religion. That is the essence of justice.

3. This is ridiculous. They're saying that it is better for Christianity to never enjoy the consensus. Because it will be used to justify evil. As opposed to the non-Christian consensus that won't be used to justify evil? 🤯🫩

"The Physician Himself and What He Should Add to His Scientific Acquirements" by Dr. D. W. Cathell (1882) This has been a problem for some time it seems.

"And immediately, mixed with a sizzling sound, there came to Shasta a simply delightful smell. It was one he had never smelt in his life before, but I hope you have. It was, in fact, the smell of bacon and eggs and mushrooms all frying in a pan." - The Horse and His Boy (C. S. Lewis) Happy Lord's Day! No better way to celebrate than with a feast of bacon! Thankful to God for the good things of this life, enjoyed with His blessing.

"And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight." (Acts 1:9) Happy Ascension Day!

“And on the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread..." (Acts 20:7) Is this why most modern churches gather on the first day of the week, to break bread?

What he's pointing to is not the interpretation of the Bible, it's the forms of the service. Liturgical denominations have these set for the entire year, so it is standardized. Ask 10 priests to interpret 1 Corinthians 11 or Romans 9-11 and I think you'll find discrepancies.
He said he feels like he’s been lied to. Then he went to 5 different Catholic churches… And got the exact same teaching every time. That’s when it hit him. Watch.

Visible Christianity is the profession of faith in Jesus, baptism in His name, and communion at His table. Baptism joins us to His body, and communion is how we fellowship in His body. How we interact with these visible things, which only occur where Christians are gathered, is an indication of our invisible status.

We're living in a post-human rights era.
Utterly barbaric
