We beat Claude Code in our evals: 61% to 53%. Yes, evals are actually important haha And now we’re open-sourcing our entire codebase and launching an agent framework! Now you can build custom agents for your project and get better results 🔥

We just raised $41M at a $370M valuation to kill the one-size-fits-all business bank. Slash is rebuilding banking, one industry at a time — tailor-made for affiliates, crypto companies, contractors, and more. We’re just getting started.

YC F24's @ManicodeAI is a CLI tool that writes code for you. It uses your codebase as context and edits your files automatically. Try it out: `npm i -g manicode` ycombinator.com/launches/M2Q… Congrats on the launch, @jahooma and @brandonkachen!

"If you’re not having fun at Duke, you should leave. Take a semester off and do something you’ll enjoy," senior Aaron Price writes in his column describing how he and three other students benefitted from taking a gap semester: dukechronicle.com/article/20…

My biggest life hack is sending people video messages on their birthday. Record it selfie style and takes 30 seconds on your phone. Did it for two friends today and both said it was the best birthday message they've received!

Conversation with a CS professor, “we want an ai teaching assistant for the computer science department. I think we are going to outsource its creation.” “Why not build it yourself?” - me “We don’t have the expertise in the department.” - him WHAT???

Students work really hard all for their essays and projects to be thrown away. What if student work was in service of non-profits or community impact organizations instead? Students still learn skills and knowledge but they are now making an impact toward social benefit.

I was showing a superintendent around my progressive high school. She asked the chemistry teacher how they handle punishment when students misbehave. His response was, "I take them out for ice cream." Seeking understanding instead of punishing acting out. Powerful.

I watched this change the lives of many of my peers. For some, this was the first time they felt listened to and seen in a school environment.

2. Less stress around finding a job: you've seen that you can succeed in the working world even without a degree. Now, while your friends worry about a post-grad job or that they can't meaningfully contribute to the world, you don't feel those fears.

3. Drawing on working experiences: when I came back to college, I was able to apply my skills and insights from working in industry to our course conversations. My professors loved this and gave me additional opportunities based on the relationships this allowed me to forge.
