The gun reloads ammo passively every 5 seconds as long as you are not currently holding the gun. The gun needs 4 successful shots to stun, and missing a shot reduces your successful shot count. (I.E: you landed 3 times, missed the 4th, you now have to land 2 bullets to stun.).
