1/ Today marks the end of our 4th February Writing Challenge. We always want to close the FWC with some “thus-we-see” words of wisdom, but there’s nothing we can say that will sufficiently honor the complexity of your individual circumstances and experiences.

13/ So that’s our big piece of advice this year—not to put “deal with global events” on your to do list per se (although if that helps, go for it), but to recognize that these things will come up and batter you like a hurricane.

14/ We go into the FWC each year advising flexibility, learning from feedback loops, and so forth, and this stuff just makes even more urgent the need to start with the things that help keep you as flexible and resilient as you can be. Then build out from there.
