One of the biggest struggles I have as an #academicmom is keeping my mind focused on the role I’m in at that particular moment. When play legos with my kids my mind on work, and when I’m writing, I’m frequently thinking about what needs to be done at home. Any advice?

I get that we’re not paid for this, but if you’re not going to actually review the papers, why agree to review?

If your kid is soaking wet from the splash pad/hose/peeing themselves, for the love of all that is holy, don’t let them go down the slides on the otherwise dry playground equipment.

So many criteria for the outfit to wear under regalia. Must be fancy enough for graduation, have adequate pocket space, buttons so the hood doesn’t droop, cool enough to avoid heatstroke...what else am i missing?
