Yep. KO had 1 of his best defensive games in his Sixers career...On top of his already great stats are the things you DON'T see in the stat sheet...like the # of deflections, forced TO's, fouls drawn, & the energy he forced Brown & Tatum to EXERT! Really awesome @KELLYOUBREJR ๐

I can't make this up...
Kemp hit .987 OPS w/ 16 HR & 67 RBI in 74 gms while Felix Reyes hit .923 OPS w/ 16 HR & 67 RBI in 101 gms. If you want the MOST power potential, u just stick Kemp in the lineup every day.

Kemp plays everyday... better chance of getting on base AND driving in runs than Bohm or Stott.
He plays 2B or LF vs lefties and 3B vs righties. Quit coddling the "daycare".

Problem is they couldn't move Bohm to make room for him to shine.
Let's review: He had a AAA season better than ANY Phillie not named Harper or Schwarbs, he is the most productive player this spring while playing almost everyday...szn starts & it's, let's coddle the vets time! ๐คฆ

The problem is that Dave Dombrowski, and the rest of the front office tried to sell their off-season plan, and the lack of interest in other outfielders, by claiming Otto Kemp was some stud in the making. Iโm not saying he canโt be a productive, big league player, but they oversold his abilities and raised expectations.

Yes. I agree with this narrative more than I agree with the narrative that Otto Kemp is "not a MLB player" after only like 3 games!
Alec Bohm hit .247/.305/.647 w/ 7HR & -1.2 WAR in 115 gms his 2nd yr. And he's STILL only a .741 OPS career hitter!
Give Otto a chance! #Phillies
Kemp at 3rd and Sosa at 2nd every day would make this a way better line up. But they keep sticking with Stott and Bohm? Barely making a wild card spot if they are lucky.

The platoons on this team are genuinely excruciating to watch. There is no reason Otto Kemp is still getting playing time in left field.
