Bernie got played and dragged everyone under with him, and we should all probably just admit it.

They wouldn't even give her a speaking slot, just let her nominate Sanders. Then they use the diminished role they gave her to attack her.

The answer is to not do it.
The democratic party is determined to make it as difficult as possible for young leftists to suck it up and vote Biden. They want you in tears as you do it.

Colin Powell is speaking at the Democratic convention tonight. The evidence is overwhelming that he consciously lied in his Iraq WMD presentation at the UN in 2003: interc.pt/2EJPN4V

Last night really was the epitome of what the Dem Party has become. Not just in the almost total focus on Trump and dearth of policy & case for their own candidate, but in making promises to Republicans while simply begging and/or shaming their own voters to jump on.

The DNC rolls out John Kasich to tell viewers Biden will absolutely not be moving left. The night ends with Michelle Obama pleading with unhappy progressives to please try and muster an Obama-like passion and enthusiasm for Biden. What does this party want to be?

Trump is the best thing that could have happened for right-wing, third way hegemony over the Democratic Party. Gave New Dems an excuse to absorb Neocons into their coalition to fortify their numbers to prevent the Democratic Party from returning to New Dealers.

Wouldn't be surprised if this DNC massively backfired and helped Trump close the gap. The entire elite class of both Democrats and Republicans coming out to oppose Trump is exactly what got him elected initially.

Cormier's HW résumé: Bigfoot, Barnett, Mir, Nelson, Stipe, Lewis. LHW résumé: over the hill Hendo, Rumble x2, Gustafsson, over the hill Anderson on 3 days notice, Oezdemir. That's good but I can't figure out why people think that's top 5 all time P4P for the life of me.

The establishment's #1 attack on the left in NY is going to be this on steroids for the foreseeable future.

52 Assembly Democrats - more than half the conference - sign on to a statement from @DanRosenthalNYC not just denouncing the Israel question on @nycDSA's questionnaire, but saying the organization *shouldn't "be welcome in the halls of our legislature."*

Safe to say that had @theintercept not been around, Alex Morse might've dropped out and the maliciously homophobic scheme to defame him as a predator for –as yet– nothing would've succeeded with little or no real scrutiny.

If Bernie Sanders won the nomination he would be leading a police reform movement right now along with a massive M4A/COVID response movement. He would be tying this into the need to remove Trump, instead of solely relying on defensive, lesser evil politics.

It's weird how all of these ratfucking campaigns within the Democratic Party are always the establishment/"progressive" climbers collaborating to fuck over the left of the party. Every single time. The left desperately needs to learn how to ratfuck.

Remember when Bernie won Iowa but the Democratic Party rigged the caucus to kill his momentum?
What's happening in Iowa is absolutely unacceptable. While Trump plays golf, tens of thousands of Iowans don't have electricity or running water in the middle of a pandemic. This storm hit almost a week ago. Do your job and declare a federal disaster, President Trump.

It's precisely because ordinary Democrats want to hear from AOC that party leaders only want to give her 60 seconds.
From the new CBS poll of Democrats: Which of these people would you like to hear speak at the DNC? @AOC Yes: 63% No: 37% Bill Clinton Yes: 56% No: 44% John Kasich Yes: 38% No: 62% drive.google.com/file/d/1PZk…

Another reminder that WFP has been roundly accepted back into the fold by Sanders supporters and supporting organizations despite trying to tank his campaign by rigging their endorsement vote and releasing a ratfuck letter calling him and his supporters racists.
If these orgs were privy to any damning evidence of wrongdoing, they wouldn't have "paused" but cleanly retracted their endorsements. If there were any damning wrongdoing (we're talking about like instagram chats now?), they also wouldn't have pivoted back to re-endorsing him.
