When Learning Academy Worldwide with the concept of @Acumen4Life first stepped into #Concordia just over 2 years ago as part of our culturally sensitive #scaling strategy for our Vocational Training in Agriculture project, we had no idea just how. emerging from that small start, a group of young people, calling themselves, Concordia Care, would triumph at the #Seed4Africa #social #hackathon earlier this week with a masterclass in comprehensive project presentation. They are now heading to Italy to compete in an International Hackathon in July. Beyond the tangible deliverables, their presentation shone with #originality and #creativity, demonstrating a deep understanding of their community's challenges and a clear vision for #sustainable impact. Their articulate responses to judges' questions regarding #sustainability and #feasibility showed how well prepared they were. It is truly worth it spending a 10 minutes listening to our young people, their #vision, #deep care for #community and #enthusiasm for the idea of strengthening #foodsecurity for all. The #moment @altheovalentini announced the winner of the South Africa #Seed4Africa #Hackathon in #George. The winning team was "Concordia Care" by the young people from #Concordia in the #NorthernCape whose project involved creating a consistent supply of nutritious produce to especially vulnerable communities that involved #training to cultivate #nutritious produce as well as #do #good using a #digital #marketing approach #seed4africhack @SvenIsaksson @CormacRussell @Acumen4Life
