Ravens don’t need him unless they wanna cut a TE they just signed in March or a rookie they just drafted in April.
Former #Browns FA TE David Njoku is visiting #Chargers on Monday, source said. Interesting one.

Dislocation with multiple ligament tears just 7 months ago (we all saw how gross it was) for a 32y/o WR. Sprinkle in some DV history, baby mama drama, and pending lawsuits. Now ask me why he’s a FA.
Tyreek hill still a FA?

Roster gymnastics aren’t hard for Ravens DL. Mads starts the year on the IR Benny to PS Rest is chalk.

Trade back to late teens means BAL could’ve gone: Sadiq Young Traded back into R2 for Slaughter w/ the extra picks. IOL would’ve been Simpson-Slaughter-Emory Jones. Currently it’s Simpson-TBD-Ioane. Vega CLEARS everyone. But is that IOL markedly worse?

Note if they develop or make a move for a real Center this is a moot point. But as it stands today, idk

I griped about some ages of Ravens picks (Hibner 24, BeerInStein 25) but the realization that NIL, redshirts handed out like candy & unlimited transfers has already shown increased age of avg draft picks in the last few years. Harsh reality of what Day 3 guys are moving fwd

I've seen a lot of talk about consensus boards in the draft this year. I can tell you that I had multiple conversations after day two and then again after the draft was over with teams who thought it was the Wild West this year. I think one of the things happening is that there are players going back to college now because of the money available that would have gone second through fourth round. With all of those players now out of the draft pool, there is extreme variance that is developing. I would expect this to continue on to some degree, but this was also a really funky draft in terms of the board available to teams.

Best logical explanation I’ve seen yet.
Really good perspective from @Austin92818 tonight in Spaces If the #Ravens were lower on the C class, which is essentially what EDC said, it may have driven them to move Ioane up their board to secure, not just the best guard but the best pass pro guard with a lower tier C

After a full day to let it sink in, I honestly don’t hate the Ravens draft. The TEs drafted & lack of Center is my only real gripe. Everything else is very solid and the Vega-Young picks are gonna be major factors.

A 5th Yr R5 pick w/ 10 career starts. A 3rd Yr UDFA w/ 0 career games. A R7 Rookie 25y/o w/ no C experience. That’s it. That’s the whole plan.
Here's a way-too-early look at the Ravens' depth chart and roster projections. With 70 players under contract or drafted, they have room for 20 free agent and UDFA signings.

Our top Center option week one let’s get it.
Source: The #Ravens are signing former Penn State center Nick Dawkins. Was a two-year starter for Penn State and a team captain last year. Was a Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year semifinalist.

I’ll be real. Not my favorite draft after R2. But is what it is, and as I’m told, I’m an idiot sandwich that knows nothing and this draft is awesome and we have great Center options & drafting 24 AND 25 year old players are steals of studs.

With Sam Hecht going off the board as well, the Ravens' center options are thinning: Michigan State's Matt Gulbin Indiana's Pat Coogan Kentucky's Jager Burton Maybe they'll consider converting a guard, but this is a very surprising approach.
The Browns select Alabama center Parker Brailsford with the 146th pick. - Measured 6-2, 289 pounds at the combine - 3-year starter, spent his last two seasons at Bama after starting at Washington - 42 starts (40 at center, 2 at right guard) - Third-Team All-SEC in 2025, Second-Team All-American in 2024, Freshman All-American, Second-Team All-Pac 12 in 2023

What I say?
Now, with the Ravens not taking a center in the first four rounds, the biggest question facing the team after this draft is how Baltimore plans to fill the void that was left when Tyler Linderbaum signed with the Raiders in free agency

Traded up for a 24 year old college depth TE that was nowhere on the consensus boards to be seen before Rd6-UDFA range. I just don’t get it.

“Think they’ll take a chance at Center with X” “Think they’ll roll the dice at Center with Y” “Think they’ll transition Z to Center,” How can the Ravens see last years OL issues and say “let’s risk it” at ANY ACAPACITY FOR center??

Traded up for a TE that didn’t need traded up for. Center hole remains glaring. I forgot how much I hate day 3 of the draft as a ravens fan.

Sooooo we’re just gonna stand pat, pray the last viable Center falls to us, and even if he does maybe just pass on Center again? I’m so confused. Feels neglectful.
