For some reason, the current investing environment is making me think of this quote: "Generals are always prepared to fight the last war."

Re: finals game. Best comeback in history. Knicks vs. Spurs. I had a theory that the rim on the side that both teams shot poorly on was a half inch too high. It’s just crazy that both teams shot horrendously on that one.

When I write down a list of things I have to do, it guarantees that I do a bunch of other things, and definitely not the list.

A joke.
Hollywood has spent nearly $600 million trying to bring Matt Damon home. Have they considered maybe he just doesn’t want to come back?

It has been said that Europe thinks that 200 miles is far, and America thinks that 200 years is long.

I believe this next wave of Bio is going to be bigger than anyone can imagine. Multiple $10T companies. Maybe even a 100 Trillion dollar company.

Give to get. @ti_morse invests heavily in set building, this is the most brilliant move as a podcaster, it shows the guest you are serious, it shows the listener that you care about getting the best. Love when people do things different. Ti is one of the few in content creation to pay attention too.
Set is ready @ElonMusk We built it 25min from downtown Austin and can shoot anytime in the next 7 days on 1h notice. Humanity is on the verge of becoming a multi-planet species and spacefaring civilization. My goal with this interview is to help people viscerally feel what that future is going to look like and get everyone excited to help build it.

One platform. Many uses. Dual use —> More volume —> lower costs, improved reliability, stronger supply chains, and faster iterations. Commercial markets force ruthless cost discipline. My approach is: strip the platform down to the non-negotiables - only what wins the market on value proposition. Then add mission-specific capabilities as required.

It’s official: K2 Space is operating the most powerful Hall thrusters currently flying in space. Just a few weeks after the launch of our first test mission, Gravitas, we’ve successfully fired both of our 20kW Hall thruster systems to achieve a new level of electric propulsion power never before seen on orbit for this type of system. We plan to continue raising and lowering our orbit as we gather more data on the thruster performance while continuing our mission in LEO. This milestone is yet another validation of K2’s approach to building bigger, as more powerful thrusters will enable the MEO, GEO, and deep space missions of the future.

Oceans.
Plans released for a $16 billion mile-long ship capable of carrying 80,000 people. The 'Freedom Ship' would be home to about 50,000 people, with space for 10,000 tourists and 20,000 crew members. "The Freedom Ship is envisioned as a permanently mobile city at sea designed for long-term residence rather than short-term travel," the company says. The ship would be about 8 times the size of the current largest ship in the world, the Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas. The plans include a 15,000-seat stadium, schools, colleges, shops, clubs, a water park, a music hall, museums, parks, and more. The ship, which would run on nuclear, would be too large to dock and would remain in international waters. Freedom Cruise International says it would go around the world every two to three years. Insane.
