It has come to my attention that someone who has never actually run an organization, led thousands of employees, managed a substantial budget, or delivered results at scale is trying to lecture me about leadership. I have been a CEO for 35 years and have transformed tens of thousands of lives for the better.
Team Rubicon and Better Angels were literally two of the first organizations to help people impacted by the fires. In fact, Better Angels provided financial assistance to nearly a thousand vulnerable families impacted by the fires, both before and after receiving a grant from FireAid, and created the Disaster Relief Navigator which helped over 5,000 families. Better Angels continues to do amazing work to end the homelessness epidemic, and has kept thousands of Angelenos housed that had already received eviction notices.
LA doesn’t need more complaining and chaos from candidates with no executive skills. The city needs serious leadership from someone who knows how to manage teams, optimize budgets, execute under pressure, and deliver measurable results.
That’s the difference in this race.
