ALT A colourful poster in collaboration with university of east Anglia and national institute for health research applied research collaboration east of England. The poster is pale yellow and has colourful text boxes. The poster is raising awareness of the 1 in 4 dehydration risk amongst non-hospitalised people aged over 65, which is based on the researchers’ recent publication in Clinical Nutrition. The poster also encourages people to drink at least 2 litres or 3.5 pints of non- alcoholic drinks a day and visually represents this information using cups, mugs and bottles. The poster also highlights the risks of dehydration to older people, including kidney problems, diabetes, memory problems, infections, UTIs, pressure sores, dizziness, falls, confusion and headaches.

Funders of research (rightly) want to know that it's needed but a literature review showing this - one that finds little/no literature - can be difficult to publish! It's important to get it into the public domain so other researchers don't have to replicate this step.
End of a fantastic day catching up with old colleagues, making new connections, learning lots & presenting our work on Indwelling Pleural Catheters. A big thank you to @UeaCitizenAcad & @UEAHSCP for putting on a great event. #CollaborateToInnovate@EleanorKMishra @MoragCFarquhar
Interesting, inspiring, welcoming, and supportive. I had a great couple of days at the UKPS Research Conference. A big thank you to the organisers and everyone involved in making this event such a success. @UKPleura@EleanorKMishra
Well done to @AdamP_Research for presenting the work done during his @UEAHSCP scholarship at the UKPA @PleuralResearch conference yesterday. Enabling patients to manage their IPCs themselves should give them more freedom and confidence.
All checked in to the UKPS conference; beautiful accommodation and a piano in my room! This is definitely going to go on my rider for future conferences.
