Hoping this is more of a Moreno-goes-to-the-NBA insurance policy rather than an added depth piece.
I don’t see the value of filling up all 15 roster spots with dudes who could potentially play.

NEW: Kentucky has contacted 21-year-old Russian big man Gleb Firsov.
Firsov has great size (6-10), is efficient around the rim, and has good rim protection instincts. Plays for Parma Perm in the VTB United League, the top league in Russia.

Not saying this means Moreno plans to stay in the draft, but this looks like he is erring on the side of improving his stock rather than getting feedback.
