THANK YOU to all the college coaches, parents, families, friends, sponsors, refs, my showcase partner Ray Kimball, my @PGHMichigan teammate @pgh_Danyle for making today's @prepare2_win Headliners Invitational Showcase a special event once again. Consistency and quality will always be staples of the showcase.
The overwhelmingly positive and supportive feedback from the parents, college coaches, & students during today's showcase was so encouraging to hear. I truly believe a bridge between college programs and prospects was built in the gym today. That's why this event is so important to me. Everything is done with intentionality and care. I appreciate Summit Academy North Head Coach @CoachCTaylor1 for opening up his outstanding facility, doing an amazing job setting up, & offering top notch hospitality with hot concessions for spectators!

Game 4:
Howell used runs of 9, 10, 12, & 9 to turn a 4-all tie into a 44-11 lead one basket into the 2nd half & cruised to a 62-22 victory over Eaton Rapids. Despite playing without 6'5" Michigan State signee Lilly Williams, Howell had a 36-25 rebounding advantage as they rebounded by committee (all 5 starters had between 4 & 7 rebounds) and also had a 15-7 advantage in steals. [Both teams were very short-handed due to injuries/illness. Besides Williams, Howell was missing another starter (from when I saw them 9 days ago) and sr St. Mary's (IN) commit MacKenzi Duthie is out for the season. Eaton Rapids has 2 players out for the season with injuries.]
Sr Northwood recruit Gabrielle Piepho (pictured, #13) and soph Lyla Valentine (pictured, #20) combined for 32 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals in less than 3 quarters of play.
6' jr Ellie Lorente led Eaton Rapids with 5 points and 5 rebounds despite battling foul trouble throughout the game (& also playing less than 3 qtrs).
