REMINDER: Cocoa farmers have reportedly gone unpaid since October 2025. Their producer price per bag was cut from around GH¢3,200 to about GH¢2,500 — an unprecedented setback in Ghana's cocoa industry. Yet the pain doesn't end there. Many farmers still have last season's cocoa beans piled up in their homes and on their farms because government isn't buying. While farmers struggle to survive, party foot soldiers and propagandists are busy making excuses and gaslighting those affected. Instead of spending all that energy defending failure, use just 20% of it to demand payment for cocoa farmers and save Ghana's cocoa industry. Enough excuses. Pay the farmers.

I disagree with Oliver's position. A Bill does not become a closed book simply because Parliament has passed it.Until it is authenticated and transmitted to the President under Article 106, it remains within Parliament's control. Parliament can therefore, by MOTION reconsider its decision unless there is an express constitutional prohibition which there is none for now. Transmission and not the passage is what moves the Bill beyond Parliament's immediate authority.
