I’m really confused by this whole conversation. I’ve never expected my guests to do anything when they visit. I’ll cook and clean in my own space because that’s just what I do, it never even crosses my mind to feel resentful or demand that my guests participate.

One time my husband wanted to complain about one of his family friend (lady) that visited us and does nothing
I asked him that if she was a man, will he expect him to do anything for the less than 14days she is staying - let's just say we never raised that matter again
Women are not natural cleaners and workers or cooks, if someone visits me, I expect them to act like the guest they are and relax
