Why should teachers, who are paid to help teach kids, have to pay money out of their own pocket to help them do their job? Teachers aren’t compensated enough for all the important work they do everyday, it makes no sense to let them pay for school supplies alone.

Over 96% of teachers buy school supplies for students out of their own pocket. Spending an average of $652 a year, teachers unnecessarily spend their own money to help children succeed. About 60% of all classroom supplies are purchased by teachers, something that needs to change
Young students are the future of our world and they desperately need help. School supplies run short in almost every classroom. Teachers are heroes who pave the way for the future, the least we can do is donate school supplies and money too help less fortunate students succeed
