Lucky to be dad to 3 fab kids, & have fab partner. Works at @SUERC1 and NEIF @IsotopesUK. Loves rocks, thermal waters, stable isotopes & mineral deposits.
'There is NO cutting back. There is NO Money Saving Expert. You could put me into one of those households and do every trick in the book and I wouldn't even get close to scratching the sides of what is needed.'

If you can't grow it, you have to dig it. This slide shows global metal production in one year - many are critical to development AND our Net Zero future. @SUERC1@isotopesUK@UofGGES and @MDSG_UK are training next generation geologists to meet the challenge sensitively.
Drew Drummond now officially awarded his PhD on Tara Deep. Well done Drew (and Ruby!)! #TaraDeep Thanks to #BolidenTaraMines for their full funding of this PhD. And to NERC NEIF @isotopesUK for funding the isotope work. Couldn't have done it without @SUERC1
