'The undeserving poor' is so victorian. Whoever thought a *Labour* Govt would want to take us back to that
Welfare breakdown:
50% pensions
40% people IN work & that will go up when they force people into any job
10% unemployed or sick or disabled
Seems they have decided the 10% must be punished instead of forcing companies to pay a decent wage so the 40% don't have to claim anything

'Moving welfare from hand outs to hand ups' is the kind of cheap rhetoric that could have come from the lips of any Tory.
Quite apart from being economically illiterate (government spends money into existence), it's the vapid, second-hand blather of the golf club bore.
Carns is asked where the extra £ for defence should come from.

Describing welfare as hand outs tells us all about Carns politics & who he wants to target - the sick, disabled, low paid, pensioners

These 4 courageous, principled heroes must wear their ‘terrorism’ designation with the pride that Mandela did. For it was Mandela who was instrumental in liberating South Africa, while those who called him a terrorist were shown to be corrupt, greedy, evil right wing racists.
