Today was a huge day for Afterlife. After talking with people across Costa Rica Tech Week, founders, builders, investors and people from traditional finance, we realized something important: Inheritance shouldn’t only be about transferring wealth. It should also be about protecting people from destroying it overnight. So today we redesigned a big part of Afterlife. Users can now choose different inheritance models depending on how they want their legacy to work. • Instant inheritance → beneficiaries receive the assets immediately. • Protected inheritance → funds stay locked and get released gradually over time, almost like a vesting system or monthly allowance. This opens the door to something much bigger than crypto inheritance. Parents thinking about their children. Families protecting generational wealth. People making sure their assets create long-term impact instead of short-term mistakes. What started as a crypto inheritance protocol is slowly evolving into programmable legacy infrastructure. Still building. Still iterating. Still early.

We’re continuing to build Afterlife even after the hackathon submissions. Today we’ll have the opportunity to present the project during Costa Rica Tech Week to potential investors, builders, and people from different industries. 🔒🔒
