I basically attempt to speedrun generational wealth by forcing a square into a circular hole. The solution is to be more patient if I’m going to bet the house. Reverse FOMO : basically the fear that you already missed the trade. Seeing something at sub 10m MC, and fearing you already missed out and therefore not buying, so being sidelined watching all your friends make a ridiculous amount of bread on the same coin you saw at a low price, and chasing low mc coins trying to makeup for the potential win you missed out on. Sunk Cost Fallacy : Betting on a conviction play that ends up being down only, and being too heavily invested to justify pulling out and cutting your losses. I’ve rode a few high MC coins to all time lows before reluctantly cutting my losses. Usually down 90% or more. Not ashamed, it’s all part of the game and probably my worst drawdown yet.
