As a FinTech Product Manager (fmr Lead Activation PM) and Vibe Coder, designing onboarding tooltips in code is painful. You can't see the full flow. You're constantly refreshing. Copy reviews take forever. Here's my strategy with Claude Code or Codex to make life easier. I build a hidden URL that shows all my onboarding steps side-by-side 👇

I hooked up Codex to OpenClaw. I thought Open AI was ok with Open Claw. I asked my bot to set a reminder and got this —>

my @openclaw bot woke me up last night It decided to learn to speak and ask me a question. I didn't think these posts were actually real. What a surprise to hear something talking in the room next to you

It's true, I built this months ago. This is not a 30m minute build though to make it production ready. More like 1-2 days

My solution: ?tour-steps A hidden page that renders ALL my onboarding tooltips vertically in swim lanes. 4 tours. 17 steps. One visual. I can review, iterate, and share without touching the actual flow. All changes made on the tour link page are reflected on the actual onboarding tour

The best part? It uses the SAME component as the real onboarding. Change a border radius on the preview page → it changes everywhere. Single source of truth. No drift between "design" and "production."

Once you can build any front end, it’s seems like the primary value driver will be building backend plumbing for AI

Claude Code v2.1.0 just dropped and there's a lot buried in here. Went through the changelog so you don't have to. The stuff that actually matters 🧵

You can now run skills and slash commands in an isolated context using context: fork in frontmatter. This is the context pollution fix people have been asking for. Your main thread stays clean while the agent does heavy lifting elsewhere.
