So this is where we are heading now?
Three or four truly powerful LLMs, each controlled by a different sphere of influence: American, Chinese, maybe Russian, maybe European. And they will threaten each other with access restrictions, shutdowns, sanctions, pricing pressure, dependency games.
And if you are a small country like Poland, and in a few years you end up with a government that wants to leave the EU, then what? To use a major LLM, we will have to make a deal with someone else.
With whom, exactly?
Cheeses fucking Mice.
AI was supposed to become a companion, a cognitive partner, a tool for learning, creating, thinking, surviving.
And suddenly it starts looking like infrastructure for influence, surveillance, dependency, and manipulation.
This is why local models and open weights are not a nerd obsession anymore. They are a civilizational necessity.
Otherwise the future of AI looks very, very dark.
A tragic precedent for the future of AI and humanity.
