The MP for Ahanta West, Hon. Mavis Kuukua Bissue paid a courtesy visit to the Upper Dixcove Traditional Council as part of ongoing engagements ahead of the Ahanta Heritage Month 2026 celebration.
The visit provided an opportunity to formally brief the Council on the upcoming celebration and to seek their blessings, guidance, and support for this important cultural initiative.

Oh chale ๐! A proper German name. I was actually named after this girlโs father, Mr Berthold Winkler, who was my fatherโs boss. He owned Ghana Primewood and later Samertex, and he also employed the people who would eventually go on to found Aqua Safari and Safari Valley.

I just read a story the New York Times published titled - AFRICANS EXPLORING AFRICA- and to my surprise they interviewed one very famous Ghanaian who travels across the globe especially Africa to explore African culture and way of living. The surprising thing is this famous African (Ghanaian) real name is Berthold Ackon and I was like what this my beloved brother is more European in name than me. Guess who the person is. ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ
