One of the best pieces of advice I got early in my career is to not rely too much on video formats for learning. One of the key factors that differentiates a junior engineer from a senior engineer is how they read and process research papers. There are a lot of companies writing amazing tech blogs.

Service Discovery is a mechanism that allows services in a distributed system or microservices architecture to automatically find and communicate with each other without hardcoding IP addresses or hostnames.
In modern systems, services are frequently started, stopped, scaled, or moved to different servers. Service discovery keeps track of where each service is running and provides that information to other services when needed.
