Like, when I was trying to learn Portuguese, I had understood something (I don't remember what) and I was so proud that I started explaining it to someone, but someone else cut me off to tell me to shut up. :(

I was probably the only student in my class who loved phonetics class.

I thought it was funny to write in RP (Received Pronunciation, for those who don't know), like, instead of writing “no,” I'd write “nəʊ.” And as silly as it may sound, doing this helped me prepare for my phonetics exam.

I saw a comment on TikTok this afternoon and took a screenshot of it because I wanted to show it to a friend, but I hadn't read the username and I just realized who posted the comment when I looked at the screenshot again.

In my case, not vinyls, but CDs, but MAYBE because I like having my music in physical form (and I love spending time in the CD section of stores.)

I know some people make fun of me for collecting CDs, but now that I think about it, aside from a few (especially the ones I didn't want), I have an emotional connection to most of them.
