Ah, but if you zoom in on the UK, you’ll see that in Central London, the representation is 50/50 light blue/dark blue. Apparently. #TheRunningGrave@jk_rowling@RGalbraith
ALT Outside the Crocus in Moscow, flowers dedicated to victims with cards entitled: "For my Dad", "For my Daughter" etc. Putin is seen piously laying down a missile with a tag entitled, "For Ukraine".
This is a letter written on Christmas Day in 1932 from 14 year old Daisy Chance who grew up in the Nottinghamshire mining village of Stanton Hill the same village I grew up in 40 years later. She wrote the letter to people living in the future.
Next time you look at a faded black and white photo or a stuttering fragment of film, remember these people were as colourful and as joyous as we should be.

2. It's also interesting that Toyota, unlike other global auto makers has not rushed headlong into electrification, investigating other forms such as hydrogen fuel cells.

ALT Statement from Toyota supprting UK Governments new Net Zero plan
Interesting that all the people squawking about Rishi Sunak's Net Zero speech are comfortable, middle class and could quite happily buy an electric car for £28,000, or a heat pump for £13,000...
Ford, who are upset by the stalling of 2030, can't make a petrol car under £19,000 or an all-electric under £50,000. I think they're more upset about their profits. (Ford global profits were $108.7 billion in 2022.)
Hi, any of you DIY/self-assembly folks out there know what this fastening is called? - And where I can get my hands on them? The bolt takes a 4mm Allen key. It's from a John Lewis flatpack. Thanks
Astonishing colorized footage of Sunset Blvd in 1952. Starting out at La Brea, we see Tiny Naylors on the N.W. corner. We pass a Ralph’s, a Safeway, & several spirit stores & gas stations. On the Oriental Theatre marquee we see SINGING IN THE RAIN has just hit theaters. We end at Stanley Blvd & Sunset. You can see the Samuel French Bookshop on the corner. It was there 70 years until it closed in 2019.
