ACFD is assisting with a large mutual aid response to a massive warehouse fire in Tracy, along with a nearby vegetation fire. Smoke has been visible for miles. Crews stopped fire spread to an adjacent building; fire remains active. No reported injuries at this time.
ACFD Strike Team Support – Tracy Fires
ACFD resources are actively assisting with multiple fire incidents in Tracy.
One Type 1 engine is part of a strike team assigned to a structure fire. In addition, two Chief Officers, one dozer, one Type 3 engine, and two Type 6 engines.

At 2:32 pm, the Alameda County Fire Department was called to a vegetation fire in the 21000 block of Knoll Way in Castro Valley.
Witnesses saw thick black smoke. ACFD and Hayward Fire responded. About ½ acre burned.

A fire now under control in the 19000 block of Hesperian Blvd. in unincorporated Hayward at a convalescent home. Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) was called at 2:32 pm. The fire started in the basement and made its way to the roof. It was quickly put out. #ALCOFIRE

Traffic Collision – SR‑238
At 3:42 PM, ACFD responded to an extended traffic collision on SB 238 at Mission Blvd. Two adults with moderate injuries were extricated and transported to local hospitals.

Structure Fire – San Leandro:
ACFD responded to a structure fire in the 14000 block of Farnsworth St. on April 5 at 6:38 p.m. Crews stopped the fire from spreading to a nearby home. Damage to a fence and outbuilding. No serious injuries. Cause under investigation.

Four engines, one truck, and one rescue vehicle were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters are actively working the fire.

At 6:54 a.m. today, ACFD responded to a house fire in the 15000 block of Usher St. One occupant was rescued and transported to a hospital. Fire was knocked down in ~30 minutes. Cause under investigation.
🚒 ACFD Incident Update: On Feb. 2, 2026, crews quickly extinguished a big rig fire carrying produce on WB I‑80 in Emeryville. No injuries reported. The incident caused major traffic delays. 🚧
