This is outrageous. In Ancoats, I made sure the Brit Awards artwork for Ancoats only went up on blank areas.
Manchester Councillors had the opportunity to shape where the artwork goes for their own wards, why did @Piccadilly_Lab

Reasonable question, and classic Labour deflection and snarl.
This response from Starmer is exactly the kind of nastiness that fills Labour councils up and down this country when their incompetence and hypocrisy are laid bare before them. I'm glad he's letting the public see it.

What she is describing is likely a family where all 3 children are severely disabled, as well as 1 parent. So that's max UC, DLA and CB.
Vanishingly few households have this. If you want disabled children to be punished, then have the damn courage to say so

This morning Starmer will claim heโll cut welfare, but EVERYONE knows he hiked taxes to record levels to fund a bloated welfare state. Spare us. He rewards dependency, not work. Donโt believe a word he says.

We really are living through 80s-style rhetoric again. Trans people just want to live, work, socialise and get on in life, but a vocal minority of people are so focussed on making everyone fear trans people in some way.
The same tired old 'gay panic', again.

Obviously. Whenever I log on after a break and have a gander at X, all the recommended tweets I get, and a lot of my feed, is from Reform, Farage, Yaxley-Lennon.
Genuinely feel better for seldom checking this website these days and I post to implore others to try more breaks

Lots of very strange and extreme responses here to my previous tweets. I do notice this (anonymous) fringe group within the Lib Dems is trying to encourage harassment of fellow party members online, it's quite sad really. Recommend they have some breaks off Twitter/X ๐

I do think that these fringe groups distract from the big issues we get on the doorstep about the cost of living in Britain
It is scary when the world changes quickly. It's harder for people to empathise and find common ground these days. I hope Sarah has a nice day, genuinely
I donโt think sex-realist women in the @LibDems are in fact โa fringe group in the partyโ. Iโm sure the vast majority of our members, let alone our voters, support the SC confirmation that โwomanโ in the EA means biological woman.

The Express asked us about awarding the Patsy Carlton Prize to Cllr Chris Northwood. This is our response:
"This prize acknowledged an exceptional woman in Cllr Chris Northwood. The message it sends to women members and voters is that the Liberal Democrats honour and value all of our women members."
Community note
Women-only prizes are allowed under exceptions in EA2010. Under EA, Chris Northwood is a man and his inclusion is therefore directly & indirectly discriminatory. The Lib Dems claim to accept the Supreme Ct ruling, but are deliberately breaching the law.

They are bullying the brave true patriot Zelensky into accepting a deal which effectively hands victory to Russia. Unless the UK and Europe step up, we are facing a betrayal of Ukraine.
