Is it even possible, aerodynamically, for someone to reach 52mph on a pedal cycle? Even if they had the gearing for it, and a very steep hill?
This is fucking atrocious journalism with absolutely no research done beforehand that's clearly designed to stir up hatred of cyclists.
Telegraph journalists told "check your research" after front page claims cyclists hit 52mph chasing London Strava segments... despite that being faster than Olympic track cyclists
