“exponential growth is like magic. It generates outcomes that seem impossible. and that's why some politicians distrust it. they don't understand the math of exponential growth, so when they see people becoming what seems to them impossibly rich, they assume they must have cheated. the key is not exploitation but empathy. what do users really want? what could you do for them that would make their lives dramatically better?”

Elon just created 4,400 millionaires in a single day. 400 of them are now worth over $100 million. These aren't VCs. They're SpaceX employees, and the list includes welders, technicians, and cafeteria staff, because for two decades the company paid every level of the workforce in stock instead of higher salaries. Juan Hernandez immigrated from Mexico and took a $28 an hour contractor welding job in 2015. He says he didn't even know what SpaceX was. The company gave him a $10,000 equity grant and let him buy more shares through payroll deductions. That stake is now worth $880,000. Trevor Hise's parents wanted him to take a stable job at General Electric. He picked SpaceX instead, stayed 12 years, and accumulated over 100,000 shares. At the $135 listing price that's $13.5 million. He's 37 and semiretired. His words: "The magnitude of this has been ridiculous." The most telling detail came before the listing. Over 100 employees quietly banded together and negotiated a group wealth management deal covering up to $5 billion, because none of them had ever needed a wealth manager before. Software IPOs have minted millionaires for 30 years. This is the first one where the money went to the factory floor.

true but this is a bit oversimplified. money is the most common but not the only measurement of wealth. a person that doesn’t have money can be rich in other things like good health, family, peace, joy etc. those count as the blessings of God, it’s not just money. and yes, if you want a certain level of wealth in terms of money, then a Christian must go further and apply the principles of sowing (diligent labour), patience and harvest. we have seen this as far back as the 1900’s with John D Rockefeller who was a devout Christian and the world’s first billionaire. however, this doesn’t discount the other blessings of God that money simply can’t buy.
Wealth has principles; being religious is far from being enough. Principles must be applied. An atheist who believes in His principles can be blessed. God is not a magician

people stay poor because they want a fast way to get rich. the richest people pick one thing and play it for a decade.
Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund invested around $600 million into SpaceX. At the IPO valuation, that stake is now worth over $50 BILLION.

“I am not excited by what AI can do, I am excited by what I can do” - Kelsey Hightower.
What it’s like to receive a job offer directly from Satya Nadella. @kelseyhightower, former Google Distinguished Engineer, on the Microsoft offer that revealed a pay tier he didn't know existed: “I got this email from Satya, the CEO of Microsoft. He wrote this nice email: 'Kelsey, heard you had a good experience with the team' - remember I did the interview at the Microsoft headquarters - “heard really good things from the team, just wanted to let you know, you're going to be respected here. We're going to support you as a team.” I'm like, damn, support as a team? Coming from the CEO? So, number one, what an honor. This is the CEO of Microsoft. He has so many more important things to be doing than to be emailing me about a role. I opened the PDF - not very often in your career does a zero get added to the equation. And so you're looking at this like, I didn't even know that they do that. We know that it happens. But the person that graduated from high school in 1999, that chose the A Certification didn't know that was available. Even while I was at Google having all the success. Google paid me pretty well too, but I didn't know you can add another zero still. And I'm like, wow. I showed my wife and she was the one that said you should just go interview, like put your ego to the side and let's go see what's out there, so shout out to my wife. And so I get the PDF, and I'm like, okay, this number is perfect. Honestly, I don't know what to say, but let’s just find out, is this really the only number? So I remember giving a counter: you know what, I think it should be this. The funny thing is, Microsoft countered back higher, like we're not playing around. I'm like, oh, whoa. Now I understand that I don't understand this part of the game.”

There are dozens of accelerators, grant programs, and startup funds actively looking for founders right now. Here are 5 worth applying to before the end of June: 1. Hello Alice x Allstate Main Street Grants • 2-week Boost Camp • 100 founders selected • $20,000 grant per founder • Deadline: June 23 3. The best opportunities often go to people who apply before they feel ready. If you’re building something interesting, submit the application. Let investors, accelerators, and customers tell you “no.” Don’t do it for them. PS: PS: I’m hosting a free webinar for Africans in the US interested in starting a company. the richest people pick one of these four paths and play the long game for a decade. 4 pathways to Monaco level wealth - your money & your business - bootstrapping. - other people’s money and your business - raising capital. - your money and other people’s businesses - investing. - other people’s money and other people’s businesses - fund management. virtually, all the people on the list of the top 10 richest people in the world built something cool, bootstrapped and raised capital their business. so yes, go out there build something cool, that’s the first step.

it’s important to know that you can always restart your life at any point in time. it’s never too late.
Somewhere in your 20s or 30s you’ll get the opportunity to rebuild your life after a negative loop, heal from what broke you, live in your own space, reconnect with your discipline, and learn to love yourself again. It’s very important that you see that journey through.

success is a function of how many rejections you are willing to endure.
even if you have been disappointed before, let yourself want things again. your hope is not embarrassing. your desire is not naive. your heart is allowed to stay open after being tested.
