Convicted murderers can’t enjoy financial gain from books or other scams by law. They should make this grift a mandatory refund since situation as well. If they don’t have the cash anymore, kick the freeloaders out of the mansion they bought and put it on the market. All profits should then be given to the victim’s family.

Manslaughter is a lesser charge than what he's charged with, MURDER. Manslaughter is when a person acts recklessly and takes an unjustifiable risk but did not INTEND to kill.
A murder charge carries 5-99 years in prison.
