A lot of talk about the Canes' style of play. IDK that much but what stood out to me was how dead Montreal and Vegas looked toward the end. Like there was a very clear point where Montreal folded up their tent and you knew that series was over.
Rod Brind'Amour another great ambassador of patience. There is no such thing as a coach who can't get over the hump or a system that's not built for the playoffs.
It's wild that both the Canes and Knicks were equally dominant, both going 16-3 sn route to titles. Truly a once in a lifetime two day stretch for your boy.
ALT Carolina Hurricanes players line up on the ice near their net beside a Stanley Cup Champions wordmark showing a 16-3 playoff record, the fewest losses by a champion since the 1988 Oilers.
Last 2 goals for the Canes were scored by a guy who was falling down and a guy who shot the puck perpendicular to the goal from the other side of the ice. Best series ever.
Canes have to find a way to limit the breakaways. By any means necessary they can’t put the goalie in all of these one-on-ones.
No matter who is in net.
