This is a great study from Methuen AD Tom Ryan and it confirms what many already know:
In Massachusetts, wealth matters.
More resources means more offseason training, more coaching, better facilities, and greater opportunities for individual development.
For programs in less affluent communities, the climb is simply steeper.

#2 That parent proved the cigars were fake and the Principal said they could play.

I am beyond excited and grateful to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career playing Division I football at Holy Cross.
First, I want to thank my parents for guiding me through this journey, as well as my family for sacrificing and supporting me every step of the way. None of this would be possible without them. I also want to thank my coaches, teammates, trainers, and everyone who has believed in me and pushed me to become the player & person I am today.

Per a source, a series of Ipswich lacrosse seniors were smoking cigars during a graduation-related celebration, and were therefore unable to play in today's Div. 4 semifinal under the circumstances. The school then made its decision to forfeit. @BosHeraldSports @Murray_Jack_
