Hated this bar with a passion. Sad that it's gone.

I get why they didn't release this... unsourced claims aside, it is an astonishingly poorly written document.

Ok, maybe Q was onto something.... Season 50 had its ups and downs, but I will always celebrate an @aubrybracco win. Well deserved win, legacy, and threat level. Cirie's not the only one who inspired people to get off their couch šŸ’š
CONGRATS AUBRY!!!! šŸ¾šŸ„³ 10 years ago your loss was the talk of the town and yeah, it didn’t get better from there for a while. 10 years later and you made it happen. 50 being an indirect sequel to Kaoh Rong is poetic and wild. BOTH MICHELE & AUBRY ARE #SURVIVOR WINNERS šŸ‘‘šŸ‘‘

This is a scandal and I’m surprised more people aren’t outraged. At Pearl Harbor, NPS rangers explain that the USS Arizona and its floating memorial are a burial site. It is a very serious, very solemn place. Not a VIP snorkel locale. Insane that the military allowed this.

Probably the closest we’ll get to an actual autopsy and it’s quite good. Kudos to @Rob_Flaherty for what must have been a very difficult thing to write.
So, I actually talked to the DNC autopsy. Here’s everything I told ā€˜em, and more: open.substack.com/pub/thebul…

Axelrod: There are a lot of people who would like you to run for president in 2028. And there are others who would like you to run for the senate. AOC: In this op-ed that Bezos paid for in The Washington Post, there was a veiled threat—it was the elite saying if you want this job, you just stepped out of line. What’s funny about that is they assume my ambition is positional. They assume my ambition is a title or a seat. My ambition is way bigger than that. My ambition is to change this country. Presidents come and go, elected officials come and go, single payer healthcare is forever.

film criticism isn’t customer service. it’s not here to ā€œobjectivelyā€ tell you what to expect, that’s marketing. it’s perspective, interpretation, feeling. reducing it to a guide for audiences completely misses the point of engaging with art at all lmao

Fanastic piece by @mckaycoppins that's worth reading in full. Sports betting continues to offer no redeeming long term upsides, degrades the integrity of sport, alienates families, and allows grifters to grift. It's the most successful lobby of the last decade, and for what?
Last year, The Atlantic gave me $10K to gamble with. What started as a journalistic gimmick turned into something more... unnerving. My cover story on the online betting boom warping sports, culture, politics, and the psyches of millions of young men: theatlantic.com/magazine/202…

This is one of the side effects of having a really bad pipeline to bring new talent into professional Democratic circles. The same folks just keep coming back.
This is part of it, but an under-discussed dynamic in the Democratic staffer apparatus is that it hasn't really had a refresh! Folks did Obama admin—> Hill/non-profit—>Biden admin. It's produced a calcified "consensus" on matters that impacts policy and perception of the party.

So thrilled to be coming back from this today…
INTENSE Arctic front with Siberian air arrives late Friday; extreme cold watch ā„ļøšŸ’Ø • Likely the strongest Arctic front of the winter so far moves into the D.C. area late Friday. • Snow showers possible Friday afternoon into early evening, potentially overlapping with the commute. They’ll be hit or miss but could briefly lower visibility, create slick spots, or leave a quick coating in some locations. • Winds ramp up late Friday night into Saturday morning, with gusts of 45–55 mph possible. Wind advisories are likely, and high wind warnings are probable in the mountains. Outages possible. • Brutal cold follows. Temperatures drop into the teens by Saturday morning, with wind chills falling below zero. An extreme cold watch is in effect. • Wind chills could dip to around –10 by early Sunday. Frostbite and hypothermia are real risks if skin is left exposed 🄶 • Actual air temperatures will struggle to climb out of the low 20s this weekend. Lows Saturday night fall to 5–10 degrees.

The Social Security Administration now says members of Elon Musk’s DOGE team working at the agency last year accessed and shared sensitive data. The disclosure seemed to confirm some key concerns first raised in a whistleblower complaint last summer filed by the agency’s chief data officer, Chuck Borges. @IAmAmnaNawaz spoke to Borges and his lawyer, Debra Katz.
