Trump said something outside a press gaggle that I don’t think enough people caught. A reporter called him out on the corruption. He gave three responses. 1. I have the right to do it. 2. He’s not stealing that much. A billion or two billion dollars. Not that much money. Classic Trump. 3. People don’t care. That’s the permission structure. Our collective apathy is what they’re using to justify everything happening in Washington right now. Please stand up and prove him wrong.

Rosie O'Donnell on Donald Trump, "If you grew up in New York you knew he was an assh*le and a liar from day one" "I am 64 years and spent my whole life here" "I remember when his were repossessed at the runways at LaGuardia Airport "I remember when he was broke" "I remember when he would call up places and pretend to be his own publicist" "He is a conman, he is a narcissist, and he is a psychopath if you ask me"

BREAKING: Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello just BURIED Trump’s Freedom 250 concerts under an avalanche of rock legends. Donald Trump's Great American State Fair — his big musical celebration of America's 250th birthday — features Vanilla Ice, a version of Milli Vanilli whose original member died in 1998, and Bret Michaels of Poison. Artists have been fleeing it since the day it was announced. Tom Morello just answered with the Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews, Joan Baez, Cypress Hill, Killer Mike, Dropkick Murphys, Jack Black, System of a Down's Serj Tankian, Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard, Run-DMC's Darryl McDaniels, and Soundgarden/Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron. The contrast could not be more devastating. Morello's Power to the People Festival will take place on October 3rd at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland — exactly one month before the midterm elections — with any of a dozen acts on the bill capable of selling out the venue by themselves. Springsteen, who just finished his protest-heavy Land of Hope and Dreams Tour under FBI protection due to death threats from Trump supporters, announced the festival from the stage at Nationals Park on the tour's closing night. The festival will include a "Freedom Village" — an immersive space for civic engagement, grassroots organizing, mutual aid, and social impact initiatives. A portion of ticket proceeds, and 100 percent of VIP ticket sales, go directly to pro-democracy organizations VoteRiders and HeadCount. Trump's concert was paid for by Boeing, Shell, Toyota, and Royal Caribbean — companies regulated by his own cabinet. Morello's festival is funding voter registration. Trump's lineup includes an act whose original member died in 1998, a rapper whose last hit was in 1990, and a Celebrity Apprentice winner. Morello's lineup includes living legends who are actively touring, recording, and selling out arenas worldwide. Young MC fled Trump's concert because nobody told him it was political. C C Music Factory's frontman stayed while saying on camera that he doesn't "f--- with Trump." Morris Day simply posted, "It's a no from me." Meanwhile, Springsteen announced his participation in the Power to the People event from a sold-out stadium in Washington DC during his ā€œLand Of Hope & Dreamsā€ tour. This is what the resistance sounds like. And it sounds a whole lot better than "Ice Ice Baby." Tickets for the Power to the People Festival go on sale on May 30 at 10AM ET, but you can sign up for pre-sale access on May 29 at 10AM ET via sign-up on the Power to the People website. Please like and share this post everywhere to spread the news!

BREAKING: Netflix just dropped the first trailer for In the Hand of Dante, featuring Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Al Pacino and Martin Scorsese. This film has been on my radar for such a long time- I can’t believe we’re finally getting the release on June 24th. This looks excellent.

🚨 do you understand what happened to Stephen Colbert.. 24 hours after his final Late Show, Colbert hijacked a tiny public access channel in Monroe, Michigan with Jack White, Eminem, Jeff Daniels and Steve Buscemi. Now Paramount - the company that just cancelled his show - is mass-blocking every reupload worldwide via Content ID. And the deeper you dig, the worse it looks: - The finale pulled 6.74M viewers - a weeknight record over 11 years - Eminem cameoed as "Marshall, the fire marshal" to greenlight torching the set - The same day Trump posted an AI video of throwing Colbert into a dumpster, Colbert aired footage of himself burning a real one - Mayday Network and verified journalist Matthew Keys both got blocked globally - for sharing a community access show Paramount cancelled his show to silence him. Instead they handed him a Streisand-effect comeback 10x bigger than the show ever was.
Paramount is apparently trying to suppress copies of "Only in Monroe" from appearing on other social platforms by filing frivolous copyright notices, even though the show was produced by a public access TV channel and doesn't use their intellectual property...

You can't tax rich people on unrealized gains from stocks because "it's not real money until it's sold." So explain to me why my property taxes keep going up based on the unrealized value of my house? I didn't sell it. I didn't cash out. I didn't make a profit. But somehow I'm paying taxes on paper gains every single year. Interesting how "unrealized gains" only become a problem when wealthy folks are involved.

In 1970, the median rent was $108 a month which about 68 hours of work at minimum wage Today, the average 1 bedroom apartment costs $1,500 a month, about 207 hours at minimum wage But it’s all because we waste money on coffee

He is brilliant in aspects of business I could never come close to, but when it comes to understanding and being a part of reality, sadly @kevinolearytv is out of touch with the common man..
If you spend $0 on lunch everyday and starve yourself, you could be saving $7,280/year. That’s enough money to purchase a slightly used Honda Accord in 5 years.

Obama just said what every Democrat needs to hear: ā€œCan you talk in plain English? Not a bunch of gobbledygook. Just talk like normal people talk. ā€˜The rent is too high.ā€™ā€ Mamdani fixed 100,000 potholes and taxed empty billionaire penthouses. He didn’t need a focus group to explain why. Never stop connecting the dots.

Ricky Gervais on 60 Minutes Makes a Crystal-Clear Case for Free Speech He put it perfectly: the great thing about freedom of speech is that I can say what I want, and you can say you're offended, and I get to decide whether I care or not. Because let's be honest, there's nothing you can say that someone, somewhere won't find offensive. That's why blasphemy laws are so absurd, they're basically trying to protect an all-powerful deity from having its feelings hurt. At the end of the day, we should be free to criticise any idea. Just because you're offended doesn't automatically mean you're right. Spot on, Ricky. Free speech isn't about never upsetting anyone, it's about the right to speak anyway.
