Preparing a message on John 2 and Jesus turning water into wine… and I keep thinking about words I’ve heard @BenSasse repeat several times over the last few months: “There are no maverick molecules.” Nothing outside the sovereignty of God.

Not the celebration.
Not the shortage.
Not the chaos.
Not even the crushing. At Cana, Jesus takes what looks empty, embarrassing, and broken… and turns it into something better. I believe that’s still what the Kingdom does.

I don’t understand how we can claim to follow Jesus… who dignified every person He encountered and still feel justified dehumanizing others made in God’s image. Words like “Demoncrat” and “Republikkkan” don’t reflect His heart... They distort it.
