The sad truth, which the West often misses, is that absolute majority of Russians support imperialism, dictatorship, and colonizing others. They truly believe they are superior and should rule the world. The idea that Russians are afraid of their government is a comforting myth for the West. In reality, Russian society is crueller than Putin himself.

Of course it wasn't because of thank you or a suit. If Zelenskiy said thank you all the time and weared a suit, they'd mocked him for being manipulatively submissive and for being too focused on style for a leader of a war-torn country.

Fast vier Monate im Krankenhaus gewesen nach einem schweren Unfall, davon zwei im Koma. Das macht nachdenklich. Ich sollte dankbar sein zu leben, aber ich frage mich die ganze Zeit, ob und wie ich "sinnvoll" leben kann.
