Spent months figuring out how to add dynamic lights to Gaussian Splats without surface normals. Turns out? Just use the view direction. It's "fake" but runs at 60 FPS and looks great:-) Sometimes good enough is better than perfect. I rarely post AI stuff (even if I work a lot with it) but as @OlixOliver said, this one combines utility and ethics I really like when AI is focused in pipeline production
This is some useful and ethical AI usage. This is what an AI should be about. It simply generates material passes from photos. Pretty awesome if you want to do some de-lighting or create advanced materials. It still requires some of the manual work to make it work well. But it is a useful tool.

Custom GLSL Shader Modifiers for @Modyfi_ are super close to be release as an experimental feature. Replay or RT if you are interested on trying it out. Just image coding shaders inside a non-destructive / generative web tool which also leverage GenAI.
