In the wake of this #FakeCastings scandal, we would like to reiterate our stance on #TotalTransparency We have always insisted on Transparency, that’s why we had view counters on vShowcard profiles from the start. It’s also why when #castings are placed on our system and availability requests come in to users, the casting professionals profiles are clickable and you can trace everything back to source and the work they are known for. (See images) - the first image is only an example and not a real casting. In most cases, the CD will also have their socials listed so you can indeed check the validity. Where possible, we’ll also get the CD to post that their castings are being placed on vShowcards.com We will also verify all casting professionals we know personally and all established #CastingDirectors that join us in future. We’re actors, we know your struggles, we struggle too!! We are on a mission to change certain parts of the industry and we are highly protective of our users. Help us to bring the change 🎬 One thing we can learn from all this: If you’re suspicious, don’t stay quiet. CALL IT OUT! ASK QUESTIONS! We’re all in this together!
