Anthropic files its S-1 on June 1st, launches Fable 5 on the 9th, and the US government shuts it all down on the 12th. Four days. Their own red team published the day before launch that Mythos can generate a Windows exploit in 31 minutes. $2,000 per hack. And they still shipped it publicly. Before that, they had already admitted to silently rerouting Mythos requests to a weaker model... without telling anyone. One email from the Commerce Department on a Thursday at 5:21 PM. Everything killed, everywhere, no pushback. $965B valuation, S-1 in progress... and one email is enough to pull the plug. Independence is becoming a bigger deal every week.

I've been quiet for a few weeks. The AI world didn't wait for me. This week: - Supabase hit $10.5B (doubled in 8 months, vibe coding is real) - Microsoft launched Scout: an AI agent that works while you sleep. Internal docs literally say "make people addicted" - Apple WWDC Monday: Siri powered by Gemini a third-party AI agent App Store - Anthropic filed for IPO Monday, called for a global AI freeze Thursday - Trump signed an AI executive order that's 100% voluntary The prisoner's dilemma at planetary scale, playing out in real time.

A sneak peek at what is coming in the next Waku update, focused entirely on a richer multimedia experience: - Full support for image and multimedia carousels - Video playback directly within the bookmark grid - Completely redesigned capture sheet - Improved share sheet for quicker exporting

Replaced my boring text carousel with a native video onboarding for Waku (built in SwiftUI) Let’s be real: everyone spams "Next". So I went "Show, Don't Tell" with a dynamic video adaptive copy. (Video is 2x speed) Be honest: > Too fast to catch the value? > Premium or distracting? > Would you try or close?

Making code screenshots and iOS mockups look clean for social media is an absolute chore. So I built Screenmakers to fix my own frustration. - 100% in the browser (client-side privacy) - iPhone 16 & Pixel 9 Pro & MacOs frames - Syntax highlighting 3D rotation - WIP / Streak badges It's completely free while in beta. Take a look at the video preview, what features am I missing?

Boring screenshots don't do your hard work justice. Screenmakers turns raw code into polished presentation assets and wraps your layouts into clean device mockups. 100% in your browser. Here is a preview of what you can generate in seconds. Link below ⬇️

I'm not at $10k MRR, but I'm proud of what I built. I built my second iOS app for myself first. I was tired of having bookmarks scattered everywhere and wanted to gather them all in one place. The concept is simple, and there are plenty of apps doing it already, but honestly, they are all ugly and not intuitive. So I built Waku. Today, it has 130 users, including 10 paid, spread across more than 50 countries worldwide. These aren't mind-blowing stats for Twitter, but for me, it's just crazy. In 1 month, I managed to beat the stats of my first app in a whole year of existence (my app literally reached 50 different countries 😬). I'm nobody on this platform, but I still decided to share my journey as an indie iOS dev building in my spare time right here: x.com/AlexStudio44/article/2…

Developing the Share Extension View for jot (my new app): - A timer - The central object - Paper-grain BG - a stack to add notes The SwiftUI & UIKit combo works absolute wonders!

Is there a dev out there who built an app to cool me down? It’s way too hot 🥵

Day 2 on Jot. Wired up @RevenueCat in like 15 minutes. It’s crazy how simple they made in-app purchases. Just observing the async `customerInfoStream` to sync the Pro state and reload widgets. No messy delegates, no StoreKit sandbox nightmares.

Day 2 of building Jot in public. To make speech recognition feel responsive, I'm using a single audio tap to feed the recognizer and drive the live visualizer simultaneously. The implementation: - Pipes input buffers directly to the speech recognition request - Calculates RMS amplitude on-the-fly for real-time wave animation - Updates the UI safely on the MainActor using Swift Concurrency
